It's coming to Illinois in Dec also.
Does anybody have a link to where one gets tickets?
I looked on Starwars.com but may have missed the info.
Thanks

Thanks I found it---I was able to get tickets for this event :)---they allow you to insure them so in case, for whatever reason one cannot attend, you can get your credits back.
I will dress as Jedi IF I actually get there. Weather, flu, etc can always interfer.

I can't wait to see it...
I have a ticket for the 1:00 PM performance...
and am costuming the 6:00 PM performance...
Chicago was lucky to get two performances....

I won't be wearing Jedi to this one however,
I will be wearing the Hoth Trench Trooper...

WOW/AWESOME

I did get to the 1:00pm Star Wars Concert Show in Chicago at the United Center. ;D I didn't take many pictures because I took video of so much of it.
It's a concert that one should, if able, get to.

Anthony Daniels did a superb job of presentation "bows"
The orchestra was---simply put, no words really can discribe how fantastic they sounded. bows to all of them.

There were the lasers, which really enhanced certain parts of the event.

The program was broken down into segments, using music from the opening theme of Star Wars, Duel of the Fates, Battle of the Heros, Yoda's Theme, Imperial March & several others.
I could tell that there was a lot of editing that was done because even though they played certain segments of music they melded the 6 movies throughtout with movie, pictures & music. A bit hard to explain. Example: Duel of the Fates when played, you saw more then just that portion of the saga, they added other parts of the saga within the music.

So many Younglings in the audience got a wonderful chance to have an musical experience that they should remember.

I wore my Jedi costume to this, because I'm Jedi & I love Star Wars. I figured why not dress for the occasion. Not to many audience members were dressed in costume but the few that were there were very nice. I did see an Anakin & Ahsoka costume pair---I think it was a father & daugher & I did see another adult Jedi.
I had thought of volunteering for this but the standing would have been too much for my one knee which has been acting up.

I did see Lionel there doing "Old Ben", he was quite busy at the time with younglings, I decided not to interrupt him. I did see Darth Vader & the Stormtroopers & I think I saw one Clone Trooper---not quite sure on that one.

All in all a most wonderful experience that I'm very glad I had the chance to see & hear.

I did buy a program & brought it home so others could see what this was all about. That book is pretty big with great pictures. They do have key rings, holographic poster, t shirts, mugs, mini lightsabers & possibly a few other things I didn't see available to sell. We even checked to see if they had a CD but didn't see one, but then I thought I've got the saga on cd's so why would I need another one. The items, of course, were not Walmart prices. A bit pricey but beautifully done.

When I & my friend were on our way out to head home, we did see Schph & Whinter arriving to do their volunteer portion. Nice to see them :).

If I can figure out a way to do it I'll attempt to post some pictures but really it's a video/audeo experience--you can't have one without the other to get the full impact of how they did this.
If it would be put on dvd, at least one would get a taste of what it was like but not the full dish of the presentation.
