What be the best way to extend an obi's length? I was thinking just sewing a velcro extender (since Karm's obi closes with velcro).Any other ideas?

Do you mean length or width? If it's length, just add on some material if you have the same kind left. If it's width, add more material where a belt would cover the seam. Did that make sense?

Length. And it has velcro...so I was thinking of just making an extender with velcro on it but was not sure if it would look okay

It would probably look better with an extention of material and then the velcro.

How long is the obi to begin with? Adding material at the end that goes on the inside should look OK.
